To aid with styling each Xmittens Hooded Cape Vest comes with a pin made out of recycled wood from skateboard decks (made by sevenply, another awesome indie vendor!). These pins are all one of a kind and may not look like the one shown in the photos, but will complement your cape vest gloriously.
The racer back style of the vest is flirty, slimming and totally trendy (in a good way!).
The asymmetrical front is super sweet and shows off your bottom layer, so you can play with color and patterns to your heart's content.

They are made in my studio in Pittsburgh, PA using thoughtfully and eco-friendly sourced recycled fleece.
Important Details:
Currently, all Hooded Cape Vests are made-to-order. It will take approximately 5-7 business days to put your Hooded Cape Vest in the mail (as of Oct. 19).
Sizes:
Small (size 2-4), medium (size 6-8-10) and large (size 12-14-16)
are the standard sizes for now. Anyone who is plus-size, or very slim is welcome to place a custom size order for no extra cost for a limited time. I like to make my sizes based on real people's bodies and need a few more sample measurements before I standardize the XS, XL, XXL options. It may take a couple of extra days for custom orders to ship.

Recycled fleece is a vegan fabric. What does that mean? it means no animal products are used to create the product unlike in wool fleece. For some, this distinction is an important one for ethical reasons, or because of wool allergies.
